Britain's Princess Beatrice reportedly snubbed her Thai counterpart at Paris Fashion Week yesterday (05.10.11).

She don't want to meet no princesses. She's sitting here, not getting up.

Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana wanted to be introduced to Beatrice - daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson - as they both sat in the front row of designer Elie Saab's show but was allegedly stopped by her bodyguard.

After Sirivannavari explained herself, Beatrice's protection officer reportedly told her: "She don't want to meet no princesses. She's sitting here, not getting up."

A furious Sirivannavari - the granddaughter of Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej - turned on her heel and, according to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, said: "Is that the sort of princess you've got?"

A spokesman for Princess Beatrice told MailOnline: "The princess's visit to Paris was in a personal capacity. We do not comment on security issues."

Princess Sirivannavari - who is a fashion student in her native country and attended five Paris shows alone - was unavailable for comment.
