Britain's Duchess Catherine has a "natural poise and grace" that has helped her adapt to royal life.
Royal photographer Sam Hussein - who was present at the duchess' nuptials to Prince William when she was known as Kate Middleton - thinks her "natural smile" makes her very photogenic and can understand why that makes her so popular.
Sam said: "She's always smiling and it's a very natural smile, which doesn't seem forced like you get with a lot of high-profile figures.
"Catherine also has taken to royal convention well, with natural a poise and grace, while choosing clothes which show off her style. She has a lot going for her - she's pretty, very natural and is always so well-presented. I have taken thousands of photos of her from all angles and I can say that she hardly ever looks bad or miserable in photos. She has a great smile and that's what the public associate with her."
Sam travelled with William and Catherine on their tour of Canada last year and says the couple's love for one another was easy to see.
He added to Vogue.co.uk: "What was very clear was that they were very much in love and comfortable with each other.
"The trip came soon after the royal wedding, so you could see there was still that excitement that comes with being newlyweds. It really came across to everyone they met, how relaxed and happy they were.
"Both seemed genuinely thrilled to be spending time together and travelling around a different country. They were always smiling and looking out for one another and I think this really helped with dealing with the massive attention they were getting from the media and public."
