Britain's Sarah Ferguson has been praised for her work in Manchester.
The Duchess of York has previously been blasted by angry residents of the Northern Moor estate in Wythenshawe, Manchester, for the way their area has been portrayed in her documentary series 'The Duchess of the Estate' but a community leader has now admitted her efforts were worthwhile.
Bernard Caine - who previously said he felt "sold down the river" by the duchess - praised Sarah for setting up the Woodville Community Centre.

He told Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper: "We have already received £25,000 from her fundraising and are expecting a good deal more. Local business gave far more knowing that she was involved.
"I worked closely with the Duchess and I found her to be very supportive and sympathetic. Without her, we would have had no community centre. "
However, despite the duchess' efforts, the centre has not yet opened.
