A Saudi prince had caught swine flu.
Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdullah al-Saud contracted the highly-contagious H1N1 virus - but is feeling well again after making a full recovery.
The royal had suffered severe flu-like symptoms, but claims he only discovered it was swine flu after he underwent a series of tests.
He said: "I did not know I had contracted H1N1 virus except after conducting medical tests."
Prince Faisal had been given the same medication - a swine flu vaccine - which is now being offered to schools in the country to combat the disease.
Despite contracting the illness, the royal called for the public to stay calm over swine flu and blamed the media for frightening parents into not sending their children into school.
I did not know I had contracted H1N1 virus except after conducting medical tests.
He said: "There is no need for this big hue and cry created by the media. There is no need to close schools again. There is no fear. You, the media, are frightening the public."
