An unnamed member of Spain's Royal Family splashed out £500 to have a takeaway from a Scottish restaurant delivered to London. The princess, whose identity is being kept secret, had enjoyed a pheasant dinner at Marmions Brasserie in Melrose and decided to buy four more of the birds at a cost of £47.80.However, her next duty was 350 miles away in London so she ordered a £450 taxi to take the pheasants there. Chris Kurt, who owns Marmions, said: "The Bed and Breakfast where they had been staying called and said the royal guests wanted more of the food they had dined on the night before delivered to their next hotel in London."They sent a taxi to collect the pheasants and take them on their journey."Chris, who has previously cooked a meal for Britain's Princess Anne, said the royals had clearly enjoyed their night at Marmions. He added: "Everybody in the party seemed relaxed and seemed to enjoy their meal.
