Duchess of Cambridge has been 'Simpsonised

The 32-year-old royal has been turned into one of the iconic yellow characters from the hit US TV show 'The Simpsons' by Italian artist Alexsandro Palombo to showcase the stunning brunette's elegant style.

The images show the wife of Prince William in some of her most iconic outfits worn during red-caret appearances, royal engagements and high-profile events.

One image depicts the 'Simpsonised' royal in a cream, thigh-split Roland Mouret gown, which she sported to the London premiere of 'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom' in December last year.

In another, Alexsandro has created a cartoon replica of Kate's teal peplum suit and James Lock pill box hat that she wore during a visit to Leicester Cathedral in 2012 with her grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth, as part of the jubilee tour.

However, Kate wasn't the only member of the royal family to be turned into one of the yellow-skinned characters.

In another set of drawings, Alexsandro - who has no connection to the TV show - has featured a Simpsons-style caricature of the Queen herself, who is pictured posing outside Buckingham Palace with Kate, by the grand staircase and in the throne room.
