The 31-year-old royal will bring his best game to the charity event in Wellington, Florida, which is raising money for his charity Sentebale to support HIV-positive children in Africa.

Tony Coppola, who will be the announcer at the event, has taken on the important role for many royal matches in the past.

Sharing details about how he was asked to address Prince Charles, he said: "You met with the Secret Service, you met with his staff. You were told how to address him, it was 'His Royal Highness' or 'Prince Charles.' It was very very formal.

"[But with Prince Harry], they said, 'Keep it proper,' but there were no certain phrases, no ways of addressing him."

And his niece Molly Cuthbertson, 19, who is working with him at his equestrian shop The Tackeria over the summer, is thrilled that the Prince is coming to play in the village.

She added to WPTV: "He's super cute. I think it's very awesome that he plays polo. It's a very difficult sport to play. I think it's great for this place that was just a small little village fifteen years ago and now it's booming with the equestrian industry."

The charity polo match will be held at Valiente Polo Farm, which is to the south side of Wellington.

Meanwhile, Bob Jornayvaz, the owner of Valiente, is thrilled that the royal family decided to choose his venue for the game.

He added to The Palm Beach Post: "It's going to be a blast. I can't wait. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas."

Following the match, Prince Harry will travel to Orlando, Florida for the second instalment of the Invictus Games.
