Princess Eugenie jets to Mustique

Britain's Princess Eugenie is enjoying a holiday with her boyfriend on the private Caribbean island of Mustique.

Britain's Princess Eugenie has gone on holiday with her boyfriend.

The 21-year-old royal has gone to the Caribbean island of Mustique and is believed to be staying in a luxury villa at the exclusive retreat with partner Jack Brooksbank.

The princess has taken a royal security officer with her on the visit to the island, which is proving controversial among royal critics who have long complained about the cost of providing protection to minor royals.

Eugenie is not the only member of the British royal family to be visiting Mustique at present - Duchess Catherine is also currently on the island with her family, including sister Pippa.

Prince William - who will soon be doing a six week tour of duty on the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic - is expected to join his wife and her close family when he has completed his shift with the Royal Air Force.

It is believed the trip is a belated birthday celebration for Catherine, who turned 30 earlier this month.
