Britain's Prince Harry and girlfriend Cressida Bonas are spending less time together.

The couple spent New Year apart after the prince took part in a South Pole charity trek and now friends say they are "drifting apart".

The prince, 29, spent three weeks with representatives from military charity Walking With The Wounded, taking part in a 200-mile trek across treacherous terrain in freezing conditions.

Since his return to the UK, it's thought that Harry has been putting a bit of distance between himself and Cressida.

Friends of the couple told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Talk of Harry and Cressida getting married could not be further from the truth. It is actually Harry who has been moving on.

"He is incredibly fond of Cressida and loves her company but has commitments and plans in other areas of his life that could be jeopardised by settling down."

The source added: "It's not what he wants at this time of his life.

"Indeed it wouldn't be a surprise if they go their separate ways soon."

Cressida, 24, spent New Year holidaying with her half sister, Isabella Branson, on father-in-law Sir Richard Branson's private Caribbean island, Necker, without Harry.

It's thought the couple, who have had an on/off relationship for 19 months, haven't seen each other since the weekend before Christmas, which they spent at Sir Richard's Kidlington estate.
