Britain's Prince Harry "is starting to feel old."

The 29-year-old royal, who is fourth-in-line to the throne, turns 30 next Monday (15.09.14), but believes regardless of his age he'll always remain "young at heart".

Prince Harry admits he is "starting to feel old" as he approaches 30 next week but insists he will always be "young at heart"

Speaking at a curtain-raiser for the Invictus Games in Gaydon, Warwickshire, yesterday (09.09.14), he said: "I'm slowly starting to feel old... I'm actually quite old. I don't feel too old, I think I am always young at heart."

However, the flame-haired hunk believes preparing for the Invictus Games, which will see wounded, sick and injured former service men and women compete against one another, has helped him stay young.

He explained: "Surrounding myself with these guys and girls does keep me young. They're sharp-witted and their sense of humour is on it."

The prince has been busy preparing for the sporting competition, which aims to pave a pathway back into employment for the service men and women, for many months and admits he's suffered lack of sleep because of it.

He said: "I have had some sleepless nights, I think all of us have.

There's so many moving parts to this that everything isn't just going to fall into place. Luckily, things have fallen into place quicker than if I wasn't involved."

The Invictus Games kicks off at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London on September 10 and wraps up on September 14.
