The 33-year-old royal will marry his fiancée and former actress Meghan on May 19 this year, and according to astrologers, they couldn't have picked a better time as a planetary shift is set to occur which will supposedly boost feelings of "intimacy".

On the day of their wedding, Venus - the planet of love - will move into Cancer, the zodiac sign representing home and family, and according to Janet Booth, a Connecticut-based astrologist who helps couples pick their wedding dates, the move is a great astrological merger for a couple who wants to focus on family.

According to Tarot.com, the merging of Venus and Cancer "creates the potential for greater intimacy", and brings out an appreciation for family and a connection to your roots.

If that wasn't enough for the couple, two planets, Saturn and Pluto, will be in retrograde, which is an astrological phenomenon that occurs when the planet's orbit intersects with Earth's and it appears to be moving backwards in the sky.

When Saturn is in retrograde, it is supposedly a time for people to rethink their life goals, which 36-year-old Meghan is definitely doing as she moves forward with her decision to give up acting for the sake of marrying Harry and joining the royal family.

She said of her decision: "I don't see it as giving anything up. I just see it as a change."

Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan are set to opt for a "fun and quirky" wedding ceremony when they take to St. George's Chapel in May, as neither of them want to follow the traditional "white and classic" wedding pitched to them by royal aides.

An insider said: "They want it to be fun and reflective of themselves as a couple and of their family and friends that will be there. It will still very much be a royal wedding - just not a traditional one."
