Prince William

Prince William

Britain's Prince William was seen running for the train in Cambridge yesterday (09.01.14) to make it back to London.

The 31-year-old royal who is studying at St John's College, Cambridge University, where he is undertaking a 10-week agriculture course, was dressed casually sporting a black baseball cap and white trainers, as he rushed back to England's capital in a bid to catch the train which departed shortly before 5pm.

According to the Daily Express newspaper the prince made it back to his newly refurbished home Kensington Palace in the early evening where he joined his wife Duchess Catherine - known as Kate Middleton before she married into the Royal Family - who was celebrating her 32nd birthday.

The pair - who have five-month-old son Prince George - were joined by close family, including the prince's flame-haired brother Harry and Catherine's mother, Carole Middleton, to celebrate the milestone and they enjoyed a meal together.

A source told E! News: "Unfortunately it seems [Prince] William was tired after his full day at Cambridge. They've stayed in and are having a meal at Kensington Palace. [Prince] Harry is with them.

"Carole [Middleton] was spotted at lunch time picking up food from Whole Foods. Then she went back to Kensington Palace, so Carole is with them, too."
