According to Lady Elizabeth Anson, the Queen's cousin, the 90-year-old royal has been offering sweet treats sent to Windsor Castle for her birthday on April 21 to her visitors.

Lady Elizabeth, 75, said: "The lovely thing about her, nothing goes to waste."

Meanwhile, the head of the royal family's cousin - who is also a party planner - doesn't think she will be getting the job of planning the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton's wedding to her billionaire fiance James Matthews.

She told newsletter.co.uk: "I don't think I'm in line for doing Pippa's wedding. She's a self-confessed party planner, your own wedding you'd want to do yourself."

So far little has been revealed about the couple's forthcoming nuptials, however, Victoria Beckham is believed to be keen to design the dress.

The 42-year-old fashion designer has been scribbling away in her sketch book since she found out the brunette beauty - who is the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge - had got engaged to billionaire James Matthews last month, and has revealed she is desperate to create the stunning marital gown for her ceremony next year.

A source close to the fashion mogul said: "She loves the idea of another royal wedding. Pippa was flattered when Victoria approached her at Catherine's wedding [in 2012] but she's thinking about choosing an unknown designer and turning them into a star overnight."
