Chloe's Job Interview

Sat on the tube Chloe refected on yet another day that was the same as the one before and the one before that, she was depressed.In dead end job with a life rapidly going nowhere.

Chloe worked in a busy little Cafe, that was all the better for her bubbly outgoing attitude but she struggled with her boss.. he was a grade A pillock. As she entered the Cafe' her depression got worse so finally, on this Friday morning, the busiest day of the week. Chloe decided she couldn't take any more! She walked in straight over to her boss, without notice, she said, "I Quit!", turned and walked out the door.

As she stormed down the busy London street towards the tube home, it hit her! What have I done, she thought. I have bills to pay and now no income. Then she realised she must calm down and start fresh on Monday.

Monday came and went, followed by Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday still no job, Chloe was starting to panic. What next, she thought,MacDonalds? That's less pay than she was getting before. Then all of a sudden, blam. She collided with a man leaving a shop, his shop and found herself on the sidewalk. He reached down saying, "Hey I'm sorry. Let me help you up? My fault I wasn't watching where I was going." Their eyes met and his husky voice went through her ears like a gentle thunder, causing her to shudder with pleasure.

As Chloe got to her feet, she forced out a few words. "No,no it was my fault. I was rushing and just didn't see you coming."

He smiled at her and said, "I'm Seb by the way. Let me get you a coffee by way of an apology?"

Intrigued Chloe accepted probably because this guy had the sexiest voice she had ever heard, "I'm Chloe. Pleased to fall for you." They both laughed and began walking towards the the Cafe she had just walked out of, so making her excuses she steered him toward another coffee bar.

They ordered the coffee's and sat at a corner window booth to wait. Seb said, "Chloe. Again I'm sorry for knocking you down."

She smiled and told him she was fine and not to worry about it.

He went on, "I was in a hurry to get to the newspaper office, to put in a help wanted ad. I started a small business, selling for people on ebay and it snowballed beyond what I can handle alone."

Chloe smiled and said, "I was headed there too, to get today's paper for the help wanted ads." They both laughed.

Seb asked, "Do you have any computer experience Chloe?"

She replied, "Four years in college. Plus photoshop and accounting."

He asked if she was interested in giving the shop a look, to see if she might want to give it a try.

"Sure! Is after lunch alright?" she replied "sure". They went on with small talk and had their sandwiches.

They went straight from the coffee shop to Seb's shop and he gave her a short tour. Chloe was amazed at the amount of inventory Seb had in there. "Wow. There's a lot of stuff in here."

Seb smiled and said, "Yes, but there will be tons more by Monday. That is the only day for now that I take in consignments. The rest of the week, I do listings and shipping." Seb went on, "This is my work station and desk here in the corner. The work station, desk and new computer against the wall, will be yours if you decide to accept my job offer? I know it's not much, but I'll start you out at £200.00 per week, plus 10% commission everything she sold." Chloe was thrilled and said, "That's great, I'd love to give it a try."

Seb told her, "Chloe. I will be here tomorrow morning taking pictures, from 7 until 11 am. If you'd like to come in and observe, you're welcome to. I'll have the coffee on. "Sure, see you at 7."

Seb led her to the door, turning the lights off as they left. He locked the door and watched Chloe as she walked away, heading the same direction as he was. Walking a few steps behind her he asked, where are you heading for Chloe? Norris Green she replied, laughing Seb replied "me too"

"You're kidding? You'll be telling me it's Barrister Courts? "How does South Block sould" replied Seb "second floor."

"We are neighbors! Come on, I'll walk you to the Tube."

After they arrived, Seb bid Chloe goodbye. "Thanks for bumping into me and thanks for giving this job a try."

Chloe smiled, as she walked away. Looking over her shoulder, she said, "Thank you Seb. I look forward to working with you."

As Seb watched her cross the street, he thought to himself, she was a stunning young woman. A little full-figured, but not overweight by any means. The naughty thoughts were stirring in his mind.

Upstairs alone, Seb fixed himself a large pizza. He strolled around his apartment, eating he as went. Darkness was setting in, so he flipped on the television just for a little light. After he finished eating, he decided on a shower. With the water beating down and trickling over his manhood, his thoughts turned to Chloe. Well not actually turned to Chloe more he had never dropped that thought.Seb was 39 and divorced about two years ago. Too much work and not enough attention paid to his wife had her packing and moving out. He was not even sure of Chloe's age; he'd neglected to have her fill out an application. He wasn't even sure if she was married?
