Disney’s Oz The Great And Powerful is released today and we’re not only interested in seeing the film, but the costumes too.
Costume designers Gary Jones and Michael Kutsche designer, created and assembled nearly 2,000 costumes for the film.
Now many of the looks they created for the film have worked their way onto the High Street.
Evanora’s military meets art deco design, Theordora’s rich claret, Victorian inspired outfits and Glinda’s demure and opulent dresses have inspired High Street designs.
Pantone’s emerald green has been named 2013’s colour of the year and fantasy is now a major fashion trend. So, forget Paris, London and Milan, the iconic Emerald City is the place of 2013.
