Do not buy/ Amazon said it was discontinued March 17, 2004 16 out of 18 found this review helpful Having bought this as a christmas present i found that inside was actaully a copy of the best sixties musical, a mistake the first time but also a problem with the copy amazon replaced, the whole saga took 3 months and was resolved when amazon gave me a £5 voucher and told me that they were no longer stocking the product . Perhaps the other guy who got some other disc had the best deal after all. br /All you get for your money is a moderatly interesting mini documentary that consists mainly of trailers. If you are very new to Film Noir this will actually work very well as a pointer to some classics slightly lesser known than the top half dozen everyone knows. However, you can get this as a tag on to one of those film Noir collections elswhwere on Amazon. br /For some bizare reason you get two "condensed" versions of two lesser (but superb) Noirs - DOA and Detour. Why on earth anyone would want these, as they are easily available on lots of cheap copmilations, I have no idea. br /This disc is no use to anyone in my opinion.
