Connery is well cast as the only man to escape Alcatraz, with Harris and Cage equally well cast as the psychotic General Hummer and somewhat cowardly Dr. Goodspeed. The action is fast and furious, and the soundtrack rocks. Buy this film... NOW! Brilliance March 3, 2000 Sean Connery (bow in admiration) Nicolas Cage - wicked.....Loved this film. I do feel that Ed Harris is somewhat left out when all the raging goes on about this film. He put in a first class performance as he does in most films.
