I have not watched this as it was of no interest to me. I purchased it for a friend in the USA. He rates it highly.
Film average - Music beautiful and brilliant February 24, 2001 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The film was average, but the musical sountrack was one of the best I have ever heard. The credit must go to the the writer of the score and the singer 'Lottie de Jong' (if my memory is correct). If anybody knows where I can get a copy of the soundtrack, please let me know?
Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Like Omar Sharif October 30, 2000 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Green Ice is surely a case of don't judge a video by its cover which portrays the movie as a suspense-filled action movie with scantily clad women, guns and non-stop explosions. However, what you get is a rather bland and pathetic thriller starring Omar Sharif and Ryan O'Neil.pApparently, it's about diamonds - although, if you can bare to watch it for this long, I applaud you.pHowever, look out for scenes in which Ryan is shot, and his wounds appear to be scrapes, the public domain footage used to pad out the movie, and a big hairy man whose close-up shot may have you in stitches.
