Amazon.co.uk Review
Recorded at their 2000 Wembley dates, IFamiliar To Millions/I celebrates not just nearly a decade of dominance by the Oasis lads but also the fact that it is still actually possible to get them on the same stage at the same time. Moreover, while the band certainly had their troubles prior to arriving at the Twin Towers (not least Noel Gallagher's decision to stay at home for many European dates), this finds all concerned on blistering form with even the newer band members sounding like they were born to play with the monobrowed ones. The chosen set list also wisely skimps on selections from their recent work preferring instead to concentrate on the likes of "Cigarettes And Alcohol", "Wonderwall", "Supersonic", "Shakermaker", "Don't Look Back In Anger", "Champagne Supernova" and a superb Noel-sung version of Neil Young's "Hey Hey My My". The actual concert footage itself, though, is the only the tip of the iceberg, with special features including a discography, graphics that were specially filmed for the dates, multicamera angles on ICigarettes Alcohol/I and a documentary by Grant Gee, previously responsible for Radiohead's IMeeting People Is Easy/I documentary. The most entertaining aspect of this DVD by far, however, is a Gary Crowley-conducted pre-gig interview with the siblings in which ex-cokehead Noel gleefully admits that he can remember absolutely nothing whatsoever about recording I(What's The Story) Morning Glory?/I. --IWarren Wayans/I

5 out of 5 stars the ultimate concert dvd (so far!!)   May 25, 2002

This is the best music dvd in my collection it has just about everything you could want on oasis and is certainly not another JUST the concert dvd, it includes a complete discography of the band (with soundbites), a back and front stage view of the performance with the band (especially noel liam's)interactions with both the camera's and more importantly the crowd been quite entertaining in parts.brThe sound and picture are excellant and the disc also features various film bites (like people been thrown out of the gig)and is very raw (as you would expect)... the setlist itself is really a showcase of oasis music from 'definately maybe' to 'standing on the shoulders of giants' and all the songs are performed with gusto and are well placed in the list.brIf i had one small niggle with the disc itself is that the arrow to move between menu's is very small and is easily missed.brHowever this is a great disc and easily worth the money.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent, Oasis just keep getting better and better.   November 21, 2001

This was the first of 2 gigs at Wembley and this was by far the better of the 2. Liam is brilliant and at his best with Noel excellent as well. During the concert footage you get to see lots of all of the band, not just the Gallagher brothers. The extras are great too, the interview with Oasis was my particular favourite. There is a documentray showing the fans before the gig and it just proves how popular Oasis really are.pThis is a must for all Oasis fans and even if your not a fan, you will be after you see this.

I went to this concert and the saturday one. Liam and Noel were doing what they do best and that's rock'n'roll. Live forever was superb, as was the 'joke' when everyone thought the concert was over. The crowd was unbeleivable to Don't look back in Anger and Chanpagne Supernova. This is a must. areyoumadforit?

Don't let your prejudices put you off this DVD. If OASIS never make another record or go on tour ever again this would be a pretty fine way to remember them by. The footage is grippng and never dull, the in-between banter between the brothers and the crowd is never less than entertaining and the extras on this disc are probably the best since the UNDERWORLD DVD. Oh, and the music is very good. (even the Giants stuff).. but you know that. ..Buy it and party like it's 1995. Britpop lives!

What can I say? Oasis are just absolutely fantastic. I went to see this concert, and had to buy the DVD when it was released. Any other fans who went will know what I mean when I say that this DVD brings back all those brilliant memories!! I sat down and watched it, and the shivers soon went up my neck!! Classic.
