This is a roller coaster of a ride from begging to end it is a hidden gem. It is a shame this missed out at the cinema I think it would have been a hit.

Nutcases. That sums up the protagonists of this film who decide that they want someone elses baby. Rather than take the easier route of abducting a baby, they decide to abduct an expecting mother (Hannah), meaning that they have to hide the expectee in their basement. Cue lots of screaming and shouting, and a long wait until the predictable end. brI have to say that Tilly pulls off the role of a mad woman very well, but after hearing her mad, high-pitched, screachy ranting for only the second time (definitely not the last), you start to feel the misery of her boyfriend and the abductee. The cast don't do a bad job with their roles; the abductors are convincing as two crazy people thinking they are normal and are doing what's best for the baby, and Hannah makes a convincing upset and irate captive, however, the film is just a high volume bore. Everything is to be expected and nothing much really happens. A lot of it is just people shouting and throwing stuff around, bursting into tears, or doping Hannah. Despite the gloom of the situation, you will always have a feeling that all will be OK in the end. br If you are the type of person who relishes films for action, suspense, special effects, comedy, romance or just a good time, then avoid this film. However, if you enjoy films which are about bleak situations ... (like the classic 'true life' made for TV movies) then you should enjoy this. br That's if you can stand Tilly's voice for over an hour.
