Amazon.co.uk Review
Hitting back with a second series, the IBig Brother/I phenomenon looks set to continue into the foreseeable future. Many critics of the show predicted that the concept had run out of steam by the end of its first series, and the nonchalance of the new contestants in the IBig Brother/I house--who all seemed rather insipid compared to the likes of Nasty Nick--appeared to confirm their worst fears. However, the unashamedly voyeuristic nature of the show made the sequel almost as much of a success as the first one, topping Channel 4's ratings for weeks on end, and fuelling pub conversations across the country over the summer of 2001. With national papers backing their favourite candidates and the final public vote for the winner beating the turn out for the 2001 General Election, the series' formula appears to have plenty of mileage in it yet. This compilation brings you the best and worst of the household's antics: from Brian's comedy moments to Paul and Helen's will--they-won't-they audience grabber. --INikki Disney/I

5 out of 5 stars Brought all the pleasure and memories back   October 26, 2001

Brilliant, another chance to watch the series that had us all hooked, some (not very many if you watched the E4 footage) unseen footage, previously not seen on C4, brilliant extra bonus stuff on DVD like audition tapes etc. Well worth the money to add this classic to your collection if you are a true die-hard BB fan.

This video contains all of the high lights and misery of the big brother house. It contains adult material so you can see the house mates as you have never seen them before. It it a great video to watch for a laugh and I would reccomend this fantastic video to anyone

What can u say apart from - more votes than the general election. Now surely thats an indication of how good it is. Not only is it funny, its serious, gripping and u become friends with the housemates.p11 housemates in a house watched by cameras for 24 hours every day and we get to see it. A housemate evicted every week. pThis is a disfunctional house with humour, anger, tension, tears, relationships - be warned u will get hooked but its worth it.pIf u havent experienced Big Brother BUY this DVD if u dont you are missing out on something which is more important to people than the person who runs our country.pIts good, its real good and that my friends is true, its damn true.

5 out of 5 stars ABSOLUETLY FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   December 13, 2001

Well, I thought the television series shown on channel 4 was absolutely brilliant but this will have your eyeballs stuck to the television like you got superglue there, because you can't take them off the screen untill it's over. You get a chance to relive the wonderful memories of Brian and his squealing but charming ways, and Helen and Pauls love affair. All the contestants are great fun, and you'll LOVE IT, even if your not a huge fan! If you were not a fan before you watch this, you will be afterwards. MARVELLOUS!
