Amazon.co.uk Review Opposites attract in IFools Rush In/I, a conventional but refreshingly unpredictable romantic comedy. New York nightclub designer (Matthew Perry, from television's IFriends/I) is in Las Vegas to supervise the construction of a new project when he meets a fiery Mexican beauty (Salma Hayek). It's lust at first sight, and their one-night stand takes an unexpected turn when she shows up three months later to announce that she's pregnant. They're determined to do right for each other, so they get married in a Vegas chapel with an Elvis impersonator as their witness. Then comes the hard part--trying to figure out if they're actually compatible. The plot complications are mostly familiar, but Perry and Hayek throw some bright sparks as their initial bliss turns to more realistic concerns for family and future. Along the way there's some sharp dialogue and a few good laughs to give this all-too-human comedy an enjoyable spin. --IJeff Shannon, Amazon.com/I

Great, feel good movie, even for the cynics amongst us! October 15, 2000 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
All the reviews state the same. It's a great light-hearted movie with an exceptional soundtrack. Even if you're not into Friends. Matthew Perry comes over well as a guy who suddenly has to face not only responsibility, in the name of parenthood, but a new family from a totally different culture. ... Don't take it seriously just enjoy the movie and the soundtrack. It's a feel good movie in a rather cynical world! The actors involved do credit to the movie. What else is there to say!
Such a sweet film April 13, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I saw this film quite a few years ago now but still love it as much as I did the first time I watched it. I find it hard to see Mathew Perry as anyone other than ' Chandler from Friends' but this film helped me to see him in a different light. Although the film is a comedy it is easy to see the more serious side to it. It's nice to see a flim deal with some realistic matters for once and still be able to see the funny side.brI think that Mathew Perry and Salma Hayek make a fantastic combination for this film, their performance is really touching. They make a fantastic pair. brI'd recomend this film to all the fans out there of ' Feel Good' films!
Enjoyable July 5, 2000 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A good light entertainment film. Nothing exceptional but a very enjoyable film to watch. Matthew Perry is probably one of the better Freinds actors to go from the series to a Film. Most of the other Friends cast, just seem to be them selves playing another role, where as Matthew Perry acts very well in this film and you don't just think of him as Chandler.
Matthew Perry IS Chandler Bing...that ain't no bad thing July 30, 2000 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Matthew Perry again proves his outstanding ability as a comedic actor, here he shines as Alex Whitman...
One of my all-time favourite movies October 30, 2001 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The kind of movie you just have to fall in love with, not to mention Matthew Perry (what a doll!). Both actors go well together and I know that many of my friends just adored this movie.
