YAHTZEE! - Hasselhoff cooked my plums February 25, 2005 Mr. M. P. Corner (Heaven) 6 out of 13 found this review helpful
The first thing I did when this booked arrived was to incinerate everything else in my house (excpet my plums and my YAHTZEE! board game)pOnce everything was gone I sat in the ashes and opened the first page - BAM, it was like being hit by a Freight train that was being driven too fast by a bald man in jeans - possibly called Jose or Joseph, I can't really say for sure.pAnyway, I was so moved by the stories in this book that I invited David Hamplecramp round to my house and he arrived naked asking if I had anything to eat (he doesn't like airplane food) and he'd lost all his luggage.pSo I showed him my plums and he said he'd cook them, whilst David got busy with the stove, I prepared the YAHTZEE! board and we played long into the night...pI was awoken by David shouting YAHTZEE! into my ear as loudly as he could, at this point I went into the garden and had a tug.
Amuzing, funny, the best volume so far! May 4, 2002 Cornelius vd Merwe (Richards Bay, MEERENSEE South Africa) 2 out of 9 found this review helpful
"Slammin Sammy" and "Just My Bill" are the two most amusing episodes from the whole Knight Rider DVD series so far! A must for your collection! The almost sarcastic interaction between KITT and Michael and the words betweenbrBonny and Michael about KITT's well being, makes for a good laugh. Bonny has her hands full with Michael and KITT. The "Rising Sun" episode does not focus so much on KITT and it's asif he is a bit in the background, hence this episode was less amusing to me.pIf the follow up DVD's has the same type of episodes, we are in for a great volume 4 - hopefully they include the first episode where KARR appeared in, or the episode where RC3 came into the story!pAs a Knight Rider fan - this volume 3 DVD was money very very well spent!
Turn On The Knight Light December 15, 2003 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Ok, so you bought Disc 1 and 2, right? If not, why not?pTo be fair, this disc is to the same quality of image as the previous discs, as is the sound. The main title menu is a bit of a let down however. It has a "rush job" feel to it.pThe main problem with this disc in comparison to the other two is the choice of episodes. I don't think any of them are amongst most people's fave episode lists.pHaving said that, being Knight Rider, they are still entertaining to watch. However, given the lack of action in the episodes offered, I would say this release should only be considered by hardcore fans only. Newcomers should start with the first volume disc, or they may end up a little disappointed by this release... and possibly confused.
