5 out of 5 stars a good, interesting watch   May 2, 2002

as my boyfriend is a massive fan of tupac's, i of course get roped into listening to his music all of the time. the dvd didnt appeal to me at first as i am not a 'massive' 2pac fan, but once i started watching the 'documentary' of his life i definately got into it and thought it was very interesting. the film shows his background and how he has come to be one of the most famous rap artists of all time. it shows his highs and lows, and how he went from being a young and fresh 17 year old to become a 'thug'. a very interesting watch even if you're not an avid tupac fan. x

5 out of 5 stars An excellent true depiction of pac   April 29, 2002

The media would have us believe that 2pac was a hateful thug who didn't have any feelings or emotions, however thug angel looks beyond the negative media attitude towards pac, and shows that he was a caring generous man who was frustrated and felt that black america was neglected by the white and even black elite in american politics. The movie by pacs close friends is a must see as it shows the rapper, poet and movie star as he really was, a young afro american from a poverty stricken community who made a life for himself which got too big too fast. A must see for all pac fans and those who are just curious about the media hype which surrounded the man.

5 out of 5 stars One Of The Best Pac Dvds   July 24, 2004

I wasn't sure what to expect when i received this Collector's Edition but boy is it completely worth every penny. 2 dvds with so many extras, you won't have time to watch it all straight away and you also receive the best seller book " Holler if you Hear Me " AND a bonus cd with plenty of tributes from the people who knew Pac best. This is a must for all 2Pac fans, which contains interviews from 2Pac himself, E.D.I ,Shock G, Dr. Mutulu Shakur, Big Syke and Treach from Naughty By Nature just to name a few.brTrust me, you will not regret buyng this !!

5 out of 5 stars The best Tupac video ever!   May 14, 2002
9 out of 11 found this review helpful

This video has got to be the best Tupac video i have ever come across. It does not get tangled up in potraying upac a the thug the media and his lyrics led you to believe, but as the caring, respectful man, who really was someone who made a difference. Unlike other videos about Tupac that are purely trying to make money off his name, this video has been directed and edited superbly. The jokes about Tupac from his friends as worth the price of the video alone! If you love Tupac you'll love this video. If you want to learn anything about him or his life, its for you.
