Calista Flockhart plays a young woman fighting a drug addiction and the expectations of those around her. A very different role from her Ally McBeal norm, but she plays it well. Guest appearance from Vincent Pastore (the sopranos) adds diveristy. The 'special features' of the dvd are not particularly special and the film has a low budget feel, but is still well worth watching. (Great chicken impressions!) I didn't really care for anyone September 10, 2004 Ian Fleeton The film had an interesting grittyness to it that kept me watching and waiting for something to happen. Things happen in the film, but nothing hooked me because I didn't buy into the characters. Although the acting was fine I feel the characters being portrayed were irritating. Trainspotting's lowlifes had at least a certain charisma that's lacking in this film. Therefore the intended powerful conclusion of this film, for me, fell flat on its face.pFans of the cast, particularly Calista Flockhart, may enjoy this film on a scene by scene basis and by associations with other characters she has played.
