Editorial Reviews: Amazon.co.uk Review Just in case anyone was starting to think Series 8 of IFriends/I was about nothing but Rachel, "The One with the Rumour" reveals the "We Hate Rachel" club that's been around some time: Ross started it in High School with a certain Mr Jennifer Aniston (an uncredited Brad Pitt). In a welcome change of focus, "The One with Monica's Boots" has Monica and Chandler arguing over finances while Phoebe and Ross argue over the attentions of Sting's wife Trudie Styler (cameoing as herself). Next in "The One with Ross' Step Forward" his girlfriend from Monica and Chandler's wedding turns out to want more from him than he'd planned. And getting back to Rachel, her hormones find her bouncing all over looking for a partner. "The One Where Joey Dates Rachel" is her surprise resolution. This is another exceptional turn behind the camera for Schwimmer, who relegates his on-screen time to teaching a respectable class, finally. Other highlights of this volume include Joey swearing he can eat a whole turkey, another screw-up boss at Chandler's office and everyone's addiction to the IMs Pacman/I arcade game. --IPaul Tonks/I

Customer Reviews: More fabulous fun from Friends (get fanatical) August 25, 2002 4 out of 4 found this review helpful Okay, if I was given a limit of two words for this review, I would have to say GET THIS!!brThese four episodes taken from series 8 are new and although they have the classic friends vibe going on, it is somewhat original. They have done a great job with the laughs, the new ideas and you would not be disappointed at all. Friends fan or not, if you like to chuckle and you want to feel great...this is for you. Every penny is worth it and make sure you flip this over once your done with side A, cos side B has the episodes WITH extra footage! Honestly, sometimes you wonder why they cut out the stuff they do because it could be even more hilarious! Anyway, I admit I am long winded, but I would strongly recommend this-all ages, all people, just give this a try once and you will be hooked to this modern sit-com with serious bite! In The One where Chandler takes a bath Joey is driving himself crazy with guilt over his secret affection for Rachel, but things become even more complicated when Monica mistakenly thinks he's in love with Phoebe and tells her so! Meanwhile, Rachel breaks her promise with Ross not to learn the sex of their unborn child and takes a look at the doctor's folder. Throughout this whole time Chandler has been enjoying a long bubble bath thanks to Monica, however soon she can't get him out!brIn The One With The Secret Closet we finally discover what Monica hides behind that suspicious closet of hers, when Chandler becomes obsessed with it. Joey realises that his feelings for Rachel are excluding Ross from fatherhood and makes a brave decision to let Rachel live with Ross. Phoebe massages Monica, but regrets it when Monica groans and grunts enthusiastically.brIn the one with the Birthing Video, its Valentine's day again, and Chandler mistakes a birthing video meant for Rachel for a present from Monica. Meanwhile Ross tries to hide the fact that Rachel is living with him from Mona, and Phoebe lends Joey the happiest dog in the world after he is depressed that Rachel has moved out.brIn one of the most exciting episodes yet, Joey finally tells Ross and finally Rachel his feelings for her in The one where Joey tells Rachel, despite the potential outcome. Chandler becomes jealous when Phoebe's boyfriend, Don, appears to be Monica's soulmate, as he is almost identical to her.brThis volume has some of the best moments of Friends, whether its joey telling Rachel his feelings or Phoebe thinks Joey is in love with her. Meanwhile, chandler racks up a record number of points on monica's new mrs. Pac-man game machine and rossis finally allowed to teach an honours class.
