Smith (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful This was the first movies my youngest child had seen in the pictures, decided to purchase the dvd as a keep sake. It was just as great as I remembered, both my children loved it. Kate Winslet's song is beautiful. The characters are so real, scrooge changes from a miserable old man to a caring and loving person. Davis (London UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful The reason I wanted to buy this DVD was because I was an extra in the two live scenes at the beginning and end of the film and it was nice to have a record of the event. br / br /The film is a very strange take on A Christmas Carol with Kate Winslett and Nicholas Cage voicing two cartoon mice. br / br /I am not sure who it is aimed at - but my two young great nephews seemed to enjoy parts of it (they are 2 and 4) - so maybe that is a good indicator of the audience. br / br /Not a patch on the Alastair Sim or Patrick Stewart versions - not even as accurate as the Muppet version.
