3 out of 5 stars Treat it as a mini-series not as a sequel and you'll love it   May 22, 2005

When I picked up Firestarter Rekindled I knew it was going to be somewhat trashy, I mean... come on, a sequel to a film based on a book that has no single.brI did however like it very much.brThe music leaves much to be desired for, and as the producers state it is a mini-series rather than a film. The quality and screenplay alerted me to this before I looked it up. It does not follow very much of the book other than characterisation, is more like a fanfic and whilst not a state of the art film, good fun to watch indeed.

I have purchased this dvd because Jeanne Moreau was supposed to star in it - what a dissapointment - there is no Jeanne Moreau but a different actress with the last name Moreau.
