Amazon.co.uk Review Pitting kids against grown-ups has always been a reliable source of comedy, and IBig Fat Liar/I indulges the "smart kid vs dumb adult" fantasy with infectious enthusiasm. In this case it's Frankie Muniz from TV's IMalcolm in the Middle/I, playing a Michigan eighth-grader whose penchant for lying results in parental scorn when he claims that a Hollywood movie mogul (ace character actor Paul Giamatti) has stolen the kid's hastily written English essay and turned it into his upcoming summer blockbuster. The kid only wants to prove his honesty and recruits his girlfriend (spunky TV star Amanda Bynes) to beat the honcho on his Hollywood turf. Elaborate practical jokes and slapstick gags turn this kid stuff (scripted and produced by two former child stars) into an enjoyable send-up of Hollywood absurdity. When combined with Giamatti's mastery of slow-burning megalomania, the show-biz in-jokes and IHome Alone/I-style anarchy make this a harmless diversion for the young and young-at-heart. --IJeff Shannon/I

To all comedy lovers,brThis film is brilliant and do not be turned off that it is aimed at kids cos i'm not one and me and my friend could not stop laughing right the way through this film. If you haven't seen the Malcolm In the Middle star in this, then you have not seen him at his funniest. His plan to get the director who stole his story to tell the truth to his dad, maybe, i agree be a bit chilidish but you don't really remember this while watching his plans being hatched to actually get to talk to the director and the revenge he gets on him. The only down side i would say is at the end, between the two main characters, but i'll let you watch it to find out!! Its definetly a must see or a must buy for anyone who wants a good laugh, so much so that your cheeks and stomach are hurting by the end of it and of course hours after, while recalling all the funniest parts!

Ever lied?? Well, if you have maybe you ourt to have a look at this DVD. It tells a story of a small boy named Jason. He one days gets a drve in a limo, with a flim produer. Jason, drops his essay that he was supposed to bring to school. then monty makes a flim about it, making the essay the flim's point of view. This DVD also has amanda bynes in it and being a fan oh her TV show, THe amanda show, she shows all the stuff she puts in the amanda show here. br brI think that this DVD is, funny, but only for chlidren aged 9 to 12. eventually people will get bored of it though if it's this funny i don't think people would want to watch anything esle!!br I would recommend this!!
