Mickey Mania March 6, 2004 46 out of 46 found this review helpful
This DVD has been a long time coming (it was released in the states back in December 2001) but now that it is finally released here in good old blitty I recommend any fan of classic cartoons to pick up this set.pThe 27 cartoons included on this set really do show Mickey (in colour) at his best. He may not have the temper of Donald or the silliness of Goffy but Micky#8217;s cartoons can be just as funny as his Co-stars (who also feature on many of these shorts). For cartoons that are 70 years old they really have stood the test of time and are just as entertaining as anything that is made today.pThe cartoons included on this set arebrThe Band Concert, Mickey's Garden, On Ice, Pluto's Judgement Day, Mickey's Fire Brigade, Thru the Mirror, Mickey's Circus, Mickey's Elephant, Mickey's Grand Opera, Mickey's Polo Team, Alpine Climbers, Moving Day, Orphan's Picnic, Mickey's Rival, Mickey's Surprise Party, Hawaiian Holiday, Moose Hunters, The Worm Turns, Magician Mickey, Mickey's Amateurs, Clock Cleaners, Lonesome Ghosts, Mickey's Parrot, Boat Builders, The Whalers, Mickey's Trailer, The Brave Little Tailor. pAll the cartoons on this set have been restored and are fully Uncut, there are also a host of features which include introductions by film historian Leonard Maltin, a gallery and many Easter Eggs.pIf you love Disney animation or classic cartoons get this set!

THIS DVD IS FANTASIC I BOUGHT IT FOR 3.99 ON AMAZON BACK STREET, USED. THIS DVD HAS IT ALL IF UR A MICKEY MOUSE FAN UR GOING TO LOVE THIS. IT GOT SOME 0LD TIME FAVOURES WHICH I LOVE THE BAND CONCERT HIS 1ST ONE IN COLOUR, MICKEYS FIRE BRIGADE, CLOCK CLEANING, BOAT BULDING, MICKEYS TRAILER. I COULD GO ON. ALSO U GET TO SEE DONALD, DUCK GOOFE, PLUTO AND MINNY. IT START OF IN 1934 CARRY U TO 1938. IF THERE WAS MORE STAR THAN FIVE I WOULD GIVE IT TO THEM A WELL TRIBUTE TO WALT DISNEY HIMSELF.
Mickey Mouse - In Living Color November 22, 2009 Ms. E. Fox (Stockport, England) I bought this for my 3 and 5 year old boys. They loved Mickey Mouse clubhouse so I thought I would try them with this after my 3 year old watched "The Moving day" on You Tube. They both absolutely love it and laugh throughout. This DVD is exceptional value for money and I wholly recommend it for all ages.
Great stuff! November 17, 2005 Jesper Mikkelsen (Denmark) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
I grew up watching these old disney-shorts on television, so finally being able to own them on dvd is fantastic. The quality of the films are great and they look as if they were made yesterday!brThe only problem is the fact that a lot of them are indtroduced by filmhistorian Leonard Maltin. NOT to tell you about the particular film, but to apologise for anything that could provoke the fragile minds out there. Usually it is small things like Mickey dressing up as an indian chief, that Disney means can offend people. This is rediculous, and if the average american can get offended by something that is not in any way meant as being cruel or evil, then he/she should stick to whatever sit-com tv is showing, and stay away from classic comedy like this!pUnfortunately this applies to all of the dvd#x27;s in the Walt Disney Treasures!
