I just wanted to add my vote with all the other 5* reviewers. I was about to turn off the tv when I discovered this movie, I had missed the start but it looked interesting. Am am so glad I did not just turn off the tv and go to bed, this is the funiest thing I have seen in ages! My face has not ached so much since smiling for my wedding photos! Yes the plot is ridiculous but it is so funny that is does not matter. If you want a movie to have a laugh at and leave you feeling good then get this one. I am on Amazon now to order a copy so I can watch it again but with the beginning that I missed on TV. Well woth a fiver, you will be missing out if you don't watch this one. February 20, 2004 Stuart Mackenzie 5 out of 7 found this review helpful Comedian Rob Schneider is always trying to emulte the success of his best friend Adam Sandler, but always struggles to do so, mainly due to poor material. But with 'The Hot Chick' he has finally found a good source to unleash his brand of humour. Schneider plays a down and out bum who due to an ancient curse (that parts a bit far fetched) swaps his body with a stunning high school student. Needless to say Schneider prancing around as a woman is much funnier than a Male Gigalo or a cop made of Animal parts. The set pieces are really funny, with the night club seen and fight afterwards being the highlight. The stunning Anna Faris (Scary Movie trilogy, Lost in Translation) offers good support as the best friend falling in love with Schneider - as a woman, which offer's an interesting subplot. Overall, this is Schneider at his comedic best, and if you have been disappointed with his pervious ventures, I urge you to give him one more chance, because the Hot Chick does deliver the goods. January 24, 2004 3 out of 4 found this review helpful So youre bored with the classic teen movie but this one is more funny than lame, long story short, jessica the most popular girl in school with the cute boyfriend wakes up a guy... there are SO many funny bits in this and you can watch it with yor friends or ur guy. a few examples are his dancing and him trying to pee in a guys bathroom.... From that it sounds pretty boring right! But as if it is! Its awesome! Jessica accidently loses one of the earrings at a petrol station that is being robbed! The thief finds the earrings and takes it home with in! Jessica falls asleep with one of the earrings in and so does the thief and they both wake up in the morning with each others body! Can u imagine a grotty old thief in the body of a young pretty girl! makes you feels sorry for jessica but it aint a sloppy film! The only way for her to turn back is to get the earring back before the full moon but can she do it with out losing her boyfriend! well youll have to buy it to find out!pAn hillarious movie that you will want to watch over and over again!
