February 11, 2004 6 out of 6 found this review helpful I am a bit biased when it comes to Olivia, I am a massive fan of hers, but i truly love this movie. Its one of my Favourite John Travolta movies and Olivia is as brilliant as ever. Its one of those films that easy to watch, feel-good movies. The soundtrack is something also to look out for (particualy fans of 80's music.) A brilliant price for a DVD as well, its good value for money. John and Olivia work so well together, i think thats why this movie works so well. It wasn't a massive box office smash, but hey what does it matter. Its still a good watch! The five stars are not actually for the quality of the film itself, of course : it's an usual sentimental movie. But all the spirit of the eighties, a couple of legend and Olivia's songs (including her hit, "Twist of fate") give a dimension to it.pWe all deserve a second chance... If the writers had just kept to a standard romantic comedy with John and Olivia and left God and his helpers out of it, this could have been a good film of its type. Both John and Olivia look fabulous (if you can take Olivia's 1983 shoulder pads!) and there is good chemistry between them. For fans of the couple you may just about be able to watch it to the end, otherwise the ridiculous story may get too much for you. Can't help thinking this was a wasted opportunity.
