Customer Reviews: Great film January 8, 2009 W. Carson (England) A laugh a minute. Lenny Henry is brilliant, I borrowed this film from a friend but will definitely be getting my own copy from Amazon! Carson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful Yes Lenny Henry really did make a Hollywood movie!! br /In Short, Lenny plays Miles Pope, a struggling Stage Actor who is after his big break. On an overnight flight, the plane plummets to the ground and the man sitting next to him confesses that he is a famous gangster who had gone into hiding. Unfortunately the plane survives, but Miles is in trouble. Not only is the other man a gangster (played great by Frank Langella) but he is also Broadway's biggest promoter and wants Pope "Whacked". br /Miles suddenly becomes a white hitman in the employ of Langella to expose him to the police and save the day. br /Good performances and even a couple of appearances from James Earl Jones and Austin Pendleton make this a good film to enjoy on a slow night in.
