3 out of 5 stars Not as good as i thought it would be   December 19, 2007

Drew is a 16 year old boy (who seems a bit slow off the mark) spending summer with his parents, aunt, uncle and cousin in Martha's vineyard. He meets a pretty girl (jada pinkett) and an older woman(aj Johnson), who is in a dysfunctional relationship. Drew has fun with his cousin (duane martin), loses his virginity and realises that life and grown up relationships can be hard. br / br /What i couldnt work out in this film is why Drew talks to a doll and why his mother doesnt get on with her own mother (this is touched upon throughout the film) from what i can gather the film is basically about the complexity of relationships and it isnt that funny, I dont think i would watch this film again, but it was okay.
