U.K) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful first of all jim caviezel is top-notch once again in this movie and if your a fan of his i suggest you watch a movie of his called Frequency which in my opinion is his best movie, br /as for highwaymen if you love the classic spielberg movie that is Duel, and stuff like roadkill and mad max youll love this! br /i guess thats the only real reason it wasnt that well recieved in this country is because there has been 2 many of its kind b4 it! but it doesnt make it a bad film just an underated one i guess! watch it and give it a try! Underrated, entertaining December 1, 2008 NoWireHangers (Sweden) Highwaymen is an action/horror movie directed by Robert Harmon, who also made The Hitcher [1986]. The concept of cars and a psychopath seems to work for Harmon. The movie is short, less than 80 minutes, and fast paced. The story is good and the movie entertaining. Though not as good as The Hitcher (the villian is also nowhere near as good as Rutger Hauer's hitch hiker), it's definitely an entertaining movie, although the climax was a bit too short. average film August 6, 2006 Mr. N. It lacks the depth of other movies I have watched recently. The acting is ok though and its action packed from start to finish.
