| Customer Reviews: Great double act! November 11, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Everything in this great! The films are fantastic and it's a real bargain to get both films for so cheap! Adam Sandler is really funny (Billy Madison has been excused) and Drew Barrymore is lovely and they really work well together. 50 First Dates is quite an intereting mix of comedy, romance and drama with Rob Schneider in a good supporting role and The Wedding Singer is great for the 80's music and the guy who always sings culture club's "Do you really wanna hurt me?". Classic moments in both and with loads of great extras then this is a must buy!
Sandler and Barrymore, sitting in a tree...... :) December 13, 2004 Smallvillenews (U.K.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just love Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in these movies together, they have an on screen chemistry that I have yet to see be matched by anyone!!! 50 First Dates is both hilarious and daramatic and is a must see for anyone who enjoy's films by either of these actors. It is about a girl, who after being in an accident, is left with only memories from before the accident. Adam falls for her and the film revolves around him having to re introduce himself to her everyday in a bid to develop a relationship. It is very funny and dramatic. The film is complimented by the hilarious supporting role played by Rob Shneider. This double feature set is great value for money and the film The Wedding Singer is a perfect compliment to the set. Set in the 80's when Wedding singer's were the embarassment of every big day, you witness the unique singing style of Adam Sandler and again you witness this mismatched pair develop a loving relationship, as their individual lives fall apart. Less dramatic than 50 First dates, but extremely funny. A great double feature set!
