Amazon.co.uk Review The cutting wit of Tina Fey (the first female head writer for US comedy breeding ground iSaturday Night Live/i) brilliantly fuses pop culture and smart satire. Fey wrote iMean Girls/i, in which a formerly home-schooled girl named Cady (Lindsay Lohan) gets dropped into the sneaky, vicious world of the Plastics, three adolescent glamour-girls who dominate their public high school's social heirarchy. Cady first befriends a couple of art-punk outsiders who persuade her to infiltrate the Plastics and destroy them from within--but power corrupts, and Cady soon finds the glory of being a Plastic to be seductive. iMean Girls/i joins the ranks of iClueless/i, iBring It On/i, and iHeathers/i, cunning movies that use the hormone-pressurized high school milieu to put the dark impulses of human nature--ambition, envy, lust, revenge--under a comic microscope. Fey manages to skewer everyone without forgetting the characters' hapless humanity; it's a dazzling and delightful balancing act. --iBret Fetzer/i

Mean Girls / Clueless October 1, 2004 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
These films seperatly are excellent and to combine them is a mastermind idea. I loved clueless and when i saw mean girls at the cinema it was so funny and well acted, although it is not one for those who aren't into chick flicks. Clueless was on t.v. the other day and i had forgotten how funny it was until i was reminded and i am so glad i was i have ordered this combo so i never forget it again. Mean Girls is a brilliant one to watch with a group of girl mates on a chick flick fest as it will have everyones enjoyment in mind.
Mean Girls- what a great film! October 24, 2004 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
When first sitting down to watch this I didn't expect a lot from it, I thought it would be your average teen movie. How wrong I was. I was hooked from the start and found it very enjoyable to watch.brThere are some very good performances in this from Tina Fey, Lyndsay Lohan and Rachael McAdams to name just three.brThe special features on the DVD are also very good with a gag reel, trailer, and featurettes among other things.brThis film is well worth buying, definately good value for money!
Mean girls.. December 28, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I must have watched this film over 25 times.. literally!pI feel the beginning of the film is better than the second half, as when the film end, she#x27;s still a #x27;mean girl#x27; but it doesn#x27;t dispute that.pThis is the ultimate #x27;chick flick#x27;, for those teenage girls out there who enjoy and appreciate a good movie.pWell written and directed.
not what you expect September 29, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
my friends and i went to see this film at the cinema and i was expecting the normal teen flick but was really impressed that this infact a weird dark tale of social misifits in the U.S. Lindsay lohan was great which was a true surprise. all in all not what you expect but better for it.
Truly one of favourite films ever! January 8, 2005 Sandra (Croydon, Surrey United Kingdom) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Where do I start?!!brThis film is hilarious. I found myself laughing the whole way through. I love all teen movies but this would have to be one of my favourites. brAlthough the concept of the movie is very similar to other 'American High School' movies i.e. the existence of the 'geeks' and the 'popular' students, it's very different too.brLindsay Lohan is really good in it, and all the actors play their part well.brIf you loved Clueless, you'll love this movie. pHighly recommended
