Customer Reviews: Great Conspiracy movie October 3, 2007 S.L.S (Ontario Canada) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful This is a little known gem of a movie.Charlie Sheen br /stars as Bobby Bishop,trusted advisor to the president. br /He stumbles across what may be a shadow government br /within the government.He becomes a hunted man along br /with his ex girl friend and reporter Amanda Givens,played by Linda br /Hamilton.Both give very believable performances. br /Donald Sutherland as Jacob Conrad,Chief of Staff br /is as expected superb. br /While on the run after being shot at and seeing a good br /friend shot down in the streets Bishop turns to good br /friend Conrad to help bring him in.When he gets to the br /predetermined spot for the pick up,again he and others br /are shot at. br /Bishop then turns to his ex girl friend Givens for help br /because she had written a piece a year previously about br /a shadow government.They both end up on the run. br /Every where they go,dead bodies follow,which begins to br /make Bishop look like he's on a killing spree. br /Can't say more because it would give away too much. br /Look for cameo appearances by Theodore Bikel,Gore Vidal br /and Ben Gazarra. br /What is really strange about this movie is the fact that br /it is about the US government,set in the US,and played br /by US actors.And yet it hasn't been released on dvd in the States.One wonders if perhaps their may be some truth br /to the idea of a shadow government.That should satisfy br /conspiracy nuts. br /DVDDIVA
