4 out of 5 stars Hotlegs Workout Penny Lancaster   January 5, 2009
S. Connell (England)
Penny Lancaster, better known as Rod Stewart's other half, is also a model and clearly rather good at aerobics and pilates. I have done aerobics for 16 years and regularly run 7-8 miles. This workout is very easy to follow and makes you sweat. The warm up and cool down are very good also -- with interesting boxing moves and lots of squats and toning for the legs (it does what it says on the box). My only small complaint are that it is too short -- I regularly repeat the main section of the workout to get a longer aerobic buzz. The last section concentrates on toning, inspired by pilates and yoga. I only wish Rod had let her use some of his music (Why call it this if the song doesn't make an appearance? I doubt he was singing about Penny -- she would have been about 3 when he wrote that song!). br /

2 out of 5 stars Dissapointing   June 2, 2008

This is the first excercise dvd I have bought and I bought it because I thought it would be an easy to follow dvd to start myself off with. br /I was quickly very dissapointed with this as I found the warm up very difficult to follow, not to mention the other bits. The music is quite repetitive all the way through too. Its certainly not a fun and easy to follow dvd and I won't be putting it on again.
