The last time i saw anyone lay it down like this was bill hicks and even he wasn't as on the money as this bloke. jesus, i watched this with my mrs, and (like all the accompanied blokes in the audience) was sniggering in an embarrassed fashion, until he even-handedly (as ever) dishes out the same super-real-don't-deny-it-you-liar treatment to the women.

Chris Rock is Genius January 11, 2006 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
Chris Rocks unique brand of outrageous observational humor is one of the most funniest things i have ever seen, comments on many themes, politics, celebrities, relationships... this stand up show is a 90 minute mastercalss on how stand up comedy should be done.
Good but....... March 12, 2005 Ronnie Pollock (Glasgow, Strathclyde Scotland) 9 out of 18 found this review helpful
Chris Rock is a funny guy. I had bought the previous two HBO specials and was really looking forward to this, so, maybe my disappointment was from having too high expectations.br Never Scared is good but not brilliant, he does a lot of race stuff, he always has, but this time it started to get old. Worth renting rather than buying
Well.... November 14, 2007 Mr. B. Palmer (Leicestershire, UK) 2 out of 9 found this review helpful
Chris Rock has a really individual vocal style and good sense of timing. He is clever, has some interesting insights and at times is funny.
br /However, his show had fair number of references to American culture (as you would expect) and these don't always travel well. At times I thought Chris was ranting with constant (every 3-5 word) swearing rather than attempting to find the real humour, giving me the impression that his material was a little tired.
br /If you're a fan and seen live shows before perhaps this is one to rent rather than buy.
