Crazy Americans do it again! November 14, 2005 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
As a huge Jackass fan, I was obviously going to enjoy the equally funny and crazy Viva La Bam. Its great and so funny but also you can#x27;t help thinking what Bam#x27;s parents done to him for him to have turned out so crazy!! Some of the classic moments in the DVD include Viva las Vegas, where they go to vegas so Raab can marry a Russian mail order bride and Vito gets kicked out of a casino as well as gets his hair dyed blue. Seriously, this DVD is great, the commentary buy the stars is funny and gives you an insight into how and why many of the episodes where that way. This is a must for any Bam Margera fans but also for anyone who was remotely interested in Jackass, Dirty Sanchez and Wildboyz. You cannot go wrong with this DVD.
Margera,Dicamillo and the gang at their best! June 6, 2006 Kirsty Phillips (Carmarthen,Wales) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you enjoyed the gross out comedy Jackass had to offer then check this dvd out!
br / Bam Margera is back with the first series of Viva la bam.Based around the hellchild himself Mr Margera wreaking havod to upon those around him, namely his parents Ape and Phil and his rather confused uncle 'Don Vito' who refers to his beloved nephew as a 'vulcan idiot'.
br / This dvd is based around Bam's adventures in Westchester and beyond, followed by his band of shwashbuckling comrades!
br / With Dicamillo,Himself,Dunn,Yohn and Glomb in tow,the lad can get away with things such as painting phil blue, converting the family home into a skatepark, ordering a russian mail order bride, completing a scavenger hunt and organising a family reunion with an elephant and Compton-ass-Terry!
br / Its all fun and games in the margera hosehold and with this dvd you will never get bored.
br / With bonus features such as music-videos, deleted scenes and a hilarious commentary, plus much more. there are also two easter eggs, have fun with the search!
br /Happy viewing pirates!
Lots of laughs! August 9, 2005 Mr. J. A. WILD (Lancashire, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This show is absolutely hilarious, the fact that Bam picks on his dad so much makes me laugh, especially when his overweight father is prevented from eating for 24 hours, as Bam goes to all the food shops in the area and posts don't feed phil posters in the windows! Class! And what can i say about Phil's equally obese brother Don Vito? It's so funny what they do with him, comical guy: like digging under his house through a tunnel and coming up under his floorboards! Some of the Jackass gang are here as well, including Ryan Dunn, Brandon Dicamillo and Rake Yonn (with his weird phobia of mustard!) The fact that Bam has the idea and balls to turn his parents home into an indoor skating park is sheer genious and reason enough to buy this DVD.pYou won't be disappointed!

This is a very good DVD overlapping the Season 2/3 (sn 2 parts 1 2) dvd and the season itself.pBut for the love of ____ sake! What is Paramount doing? The release date for this title is being pushed far into the distant future every time it gets 1 month closer. By the time this comes out, any person wanting to buy it would have already bought the NTSC R1 release.
Review - Viva La Bam Season 1 - MTV Home Video October 9, 2007 Baz (Batley, West Yorkshire, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Fans of Jackass will not be disappointed by this DVD Package. Featuring Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Raab Himself, Rake Yohn and Brandon DiCamillo, this 2-disc set follows Bam and his buddies as they fulfill their purpose in life - driving Bam's Mom and Dad (Phil and April Margera) along with his Uncle Don Vito, absolutely crazy! Also features guest appearances from stars such as Turbonegro (see below), Tony Hawk and a whole host of other pro skateboarders.
br /
br /From holding a Turbonegro concert in the living room, turning the house into a skate park and going around the town of Westchester, PA on a 6-hour long scavenger hunt, you'll laugh, be amazed and cringe at some of the things that happens in the show.
br /
br /And that's just the episodes. The second bonus disc features a whole hoard of extras, including the entire list of items on the scavenger hunt, outtakes and more.
br /
br /Well worth the money, I recommend any fan of Jackass or Bam should buy this immediately.
