Amazon.co.uk Review Even skeptical fans of the iBlade/i franchise will enjoy sinking their teeth into iBlade: Trinity/i. The law of diminishing returns is in full effect here, and the franchise is wearing out its welcome, but let's face it: any movie that features Jessica Biel as an ass-kicking vampire slayer and Parker Posey--yes, Parker Posey!--as a vamping vampire villainess can't be all bad. Those lovely ladies bring equal measures of relief and grief to Blade, the half-human, half-vampire once again played, with tongue more firmly in stone-cold cheek, by Wesley Snipes. With series writer David S. Goyer in the director's chair, the film is calculated for mainstream appeal, trading suspenseful horror for campy humour and choppy, nonsensical action. The franchise still offers some intriguing ideas, including Drake (Dominic Purcell), the original vampire, whose blood contains the secret that could destroy all blood-suckers in a plot that incorporates a sinister "blood farm" where humans are held--and drained--in suspended animation. And Biel's wise-cracking sidekick (Ryan Reynolds) in her cadre of "Nightstalkers" provides comic relief in a series that's grown increasingly dour. All of which makes iBlade: Trinity/i a love-it-or-hate-it sequel... supposedly the last in a trilogy, but the ending suggests otherwise. --iJeff Shannon/i

I liked it! March 22, 2007 Milly Moll (Nottingham, England) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have all the Blade films, and contrary to everyone else's opinion, I actually liked this one best of all. Maybe it's because I prefer a bit of humour in my films who knows. I also loved the soundtracks to all the fight scenes.

br /I find sometimes that sequels can get a bit boring if you keep putting the same main character in the same situation over and over again. I thought that bringing in two extra hero's actually gave it a new dimension, I don't think it detracted from Wesley at all, it was nice to see the interplay between all the main characters.

br /At the end of the day I found it to be excellent entertainment; it was faced paced, humorous, and had some superb fight scenes and CGI in it. Plus, anything with a half naked Ryan Reynolds in get five stars in my book.

Last But Defintley Not Least March 10, 2005 CjK (UK) 17 out of 27 found this review helpful
I loved the previous Blade films, they were truly awesome, action packed and bloody. But Blade Trinity a 15? Hmm, something about that just said "hello im going to be the worst in the series". However i think that this is THE best Blade movie yet and raises the bar for all comic book films. Despite some poor acting at times, it is an involving film and very cool, especially with new character Abigail(Jessica Biel Of Texas Chainsaw Massacre Fame). The soundtrack is indeed cool too and there is massive action to be had here, and it is not just a non-brainer action movie either, it does have a good plot and apart from a lack of gore it was fantastic. Please dont be put off by what this movie might seem to be because it is a very enjoyable movie, please bring on a fourth and if they dont i at least expect a prequel, Blade really is that good.
fangs alot for blade April 4, 2008 clark kent (england) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Once again blade battles the forces of the undead with sword, guns, chops and kicks and a little help. But this time the vamps have a secret. A day walker of their own. Has blade meet his match. Could this be the final nail in the coffin for blade. If you like blade 1,2 you will like this. Lets hope there's a blade 4.
Not much to be said here... May 4, 2005 A. Mcafee (Northern Ireland) 7 out of 14 found this review helpful
Like i say, there really isn't much to be said. This movie is fantastic. A masterclass in the action genre.pNot as good as the first (what is) but better than the 2nd - this is fantastic, stylish cinema. A couple of hours of mindless violence for all to enjoy. pSuperb.
