Sophia Loren and Clark Gable strikes romantic sparks in this comedy romp set amid the beautiful city of Naples and the Isle of Capri. In my opinion Sophia is a great actress and a person who really likes to work hard on her career. She also shows a good music talent when she sings in the bar where she works at night. I reccomend this wonderful movie to everybody who likes Sophia Loren and Clark Gable.

IT STARTED IN NAPLES,1960,colour,and co-stars the beautiful-SOPHIA LOREN with CLARK GABLE and VITTORIO DE SICA.This fun film was filmed in Italy.Sophia Loren in this film,sings,dances,[and laughs] a great deal[all done wonderfully by Loren]she wears some fancy stylish clothes that show of her long fabulous legs-to great effect. br /IT STARTED IN NAPLES-is a great romantic comedy-with Loren,Gable and De Sica all great together. br /Mike Hamilton[Gable]meets in Naples[Italy]Lucia Curcio[Loren]eventually they fall in love-but not before some problems are sorted out. br /SOPHIA LOREN-back home in her native Italy-must of had a great time making this film-and it certainly showed in her great performances-for she truely had a great laugh[and laughs aplenty she certainly does here]. br /Regards,Bill. br / br /

This 1960 romantic comedy set in the italian city of Capry, near the mediterrean is a true deligth. Gable and Loren are very good in this type of story and the suporting cast is wonderful. With amazing color and nice music the film is very enjoyable and it should deligth not only Gable and Loren fans but also romantic comedy aficcionados.The dvd edition as no extras but the picture quality is great with the original widescreen vista vision clor photography looking fantastic for a 1960 film. So...at this price this is a must own dvd!Enjoy it!
