This film is cartoon, yes, but is dynamic, well acted and best of all absolutely hilarious.brIt is or should be a cult classic.brFull of memorable lines including the chat up line "would you like to have some lunch some evening?" which crops up again in Spider-man.brThe music is amazing, drawing on cartoon music, and the sound effects are good too - I'm sure I recognise quite a few making their first outing in The Evil Dead.brVery very highly recommended. It#x27;s about a businessman who hires a couple of rat exterminators to murder his business partner. This they pull off, but later they accidentally kill the man who hired them !! So they frame a hapless employee for the murder, played by Reed Birney.pIt#x27;s totally over the top wacky. And it#x27;s directed by Sam Raimi, who made the EVIL DEAD trilogy. Raimi#x27;s style of film making is bold highly watchable. Just watch as Bruce Campbell blows a puff of cigarette smoke, it turns into a curvy woman doing a dance !! This is laugh out loud stuff.pFeeling under the weather fed up with the world ?? Then watch Crimewave. Brion James#x27;s last scene is also heavily edited. A real shame it couldn#x27;t have been given the treatment it deserved. Ashworth (United Kingdom) Ive been wanting to see thins movie for a long time, Then I found it on here. br /I was so happy that I found it and couldnt wait for it to be delivered. br / br /It arrived and I ripped open the packaging, there it was, only the the cover was different br /to the picture as advertised. I was dissapointed with that as the picture makes it more appealing. br / br /The film quality is very good and still as funny as I remembered it. br / br /Very speedy delivery, but the cover isnt the one in the picture. ( My only gripe ) br / br /Im Still happy though!!! br / Did I see the same movie? I don't mind cartoonish, I don't mind films that pay tribute to older genres and movies, but this stinks. It beats every gag to death with a stick. I expected a lot better from the Coen brothers and Sam Raimi, but I wouldn't watch this overblown pile of tripe again if you paid me.
