First off I had no idea how truely close McLaren Mercedes were to grabbing this title, and how much faster that car was compared to all the others! Were it not for the unbelievably bad reliability of their engines that year! Bad luck unfortunately! But a great year for Alonso and the Renault team! br /Lots of action, crashes and tension as MacLaren and Renault battle to the very end of the season! It includes the main parts of each race that are essential to piece together the way each race went, and the latest news is well integrated into the season. I also liked the way it dealt with the farce that was Indianapolis 2005 responsibly, just describing the events rather than using it as an opportunity to air the views that the producers had on the event. At over 3 hours long, this is a lengthy but enjoyable way to reflect on the start of a new era.pWhy not 5 stars? It says on each race menu #x27;On Pole#x27;, which should show the pole lap. However, only several times does the pole driver describe his lap. More often than not, a different driver (eg. Scott Speed at Indy and Vitantonio Liuzzi at Monza) describes their lap. That#x27;s not what I wanted! Some of the pole position laps this season were simply stunning, but instead we listen to an average driver harping on about their own lap, which is from practice and nothing special!
