Macdonald (UK) 26 out of 34 found this review helpful This is the Oscar winning classic directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe. It's about some Roman guy who fights alot. I notice that they've changed the cover for this release and it seems to be '18' rated and I'm sure it was only a '15' at the cinema - I can't really understand it as its not got any sex or nudity in it. I haven't actually watched this DVD yet as as soon as it arrived my teenage son grabbed it and has been locked in his room ever since - 4 days now!! I think he must be suffering from a cold because he only ever comes out to get more tissues. I put my ear to his door to see if I could hear some of the classic dialogue from the film. All I heard was some guy moaning "Oh yeah baby, ride it, it feels do good'. I don't remember that from seeing it in the cinema so I assume it must be a DVD extra scene about the chariot racing.
