Another Amazing Season July 9, 2006 Jo Tait (Warwickshire) 21 out of 24 found this review helpful
Takes a little while to get going this time and feels like a lot has changed. Kirsten and Sandy's relationship is on the rocks (no pun intended) after Kirsten is admitted into rehab for a drink problem. New characters take their place but a while to settle into the heart of a huge OC fan. The same old thing of someone trying to split Ryan and Marissa up but then it all comes good with an amazingly shocking finish, you'll finish the season wishing that just for once Josh Schwartz (creator)cant have a happy ending but then i suppose it wouldnt be the OC and people desparate to see the 4th Season.

br /Definately worth a purchase you'll find yourself hooked living every part of the guys lives, if your not in tears at the end i dont know how yu managed it.

The OC is back!! September 4, 2006 Lauren;; __x (England) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
The 1st season one was brilliant..but the second one a little disapointing due to too many new charcters at once. However this Season..the OC is well and truly back to Season 1 standard. With Kirsten and Sandy's Marriage falls from the normal 'rock solid' status..due to Sandy's work trouble. Marissa Ryan are having a hard time with Trey's shooting, and trying desperately to stay in harbour, this is all putting a strain on their relationship..but can they handle it? Summer and Seth are also having college problems..Its all going on in Season 3!

br /Definately a brilliant buy that is well worth your money!

Compulsive, endearing and hot bodies! May 14, 2006 Bionic Reviwer (Glasgow) 13 out of 18 found this review helpful
The O.C has a certain charm. Perhaps because it could have gone down the bland route of weekly giving us the stereotypes of the rich: snorting drugs with fifty dollar bills, sex and fast living. But whilst this show does not shy away form any of the listed sibject matter, it does not give us such cliche and faux characters.
br / Seth (played by real life nerd, Adam Brody) is the real star, with his cultivating charm and razor wit. Mischa Barton is a walking model, with even a few interesting story lines and Benjamen McKennsie, for such a new actor, has a remarkable talent, of being not a forcefully vocal character but a facial one. His eyes and face really do most of the acting for him.
br / The O.C has been criticised by some, i see, who believe the show has become dull as it progresses. In actual fact, no so. The characters are a joy to watch, rather like watching four teenager's journey, as they grow each season.
br / Compared to Lost or 24, and Desparate Housewives, it is none of those other American shows. Instead what we have is a rareity: a show adults and teenagers can all sit down and watch. With the sexy beaches and even sexier cast, what's not to like?

When the first season came out i only watched a few episodes but i really liked it, just never got the time to watch it, and when i did i always forgot when it was on, and i got my parents to buy me the first and second series on DVD for xmas so i could catch up on my old love, and got addicted all over again. i do try and watch most of the 3rd season episodes though i have missed one or two sadly, some part of me is finding the 3rd season harder to keep up with?? so much is going on and sometimes missin them episodes has lost what was happening. but at least when its on dvd i can then top up and hopefuly keep up with it then! lol i have been waiting ages for the 3rd season on dvd to be announced and will have to book my self a copy :D

br /I find it amazing! and the cast are unbeatable! and though the whole marissa and ryan seen is played over and over again, i love it when they get back to gather. As for seth and summer they are such a good match.
br /
br /for anyone that has'nt seen the OC, i think you should sit down and watch it! :D
br /Thumbs up**
Fabulous! December 4, 2006 J. SCARROTT (uk) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was quite a late starter to watching the OC and ended up watching most of season 4 on the TV before season 3 on DVD. I was expecting season 3 to be worse than any of the other seasons but I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was a lot better than season 2 and its sometimes quite dull storylines. However, if you want to watch the OC for the first time, watch season one first as it is by far the best and the most original. I love it.
