This Was Still A Great Series June 6, 2006 Steven Stewart (steveo.stewart@hotmail.co.uk) 15 out of 27 found this review helpful
In this series i am not gonna mention any of the new characters or any particular joke in this show alls i am gonna say is that although it was still very funny it struggled alot to stay funny and fresh.
br /Matt Lucas David Walliams are truly the most original comedy duo since.... Well i can't compare them to anyone because they are both so original so if you are a fan of Little Britain then this is a must but if you're not familiar with the series then i would suggest you get series one first.
Must have for any fan August 28, 2006 M. Pattinson (England) 10 out of 20 found this review helpful
This Little Britain DVD is a must have for any fan. I have always been a huge fan of the show and the comedians themselves since Rock Profile.
br /Matt David will be returning to our screens in 2007 with another series which will include just their favourite characters aswell as two Christmas Specials for 2006.
br /This DVD is full of extra footage and deleted scenes which is why I recommend this for any fan! Go buy!
Still so great July 2, 2006 mdf6701 (London) 11 out of 24 found this review helpful
Matt and David still have managed to keep their audiences howling with laughter with this third and probably last proper season of BBC's Little Britain. Using Ting Tong the taiwanese mail order bride and the two fat laddies in love with one man! Computer says no!!! is back again and you may actually find her saying that her computer works."Wink". Enjoy this astounding 3rd series!
Still good! September 9, 2006 Ben Singer (Cardiff, UK) 7 out of 15 found this review helpful
It's quite common by its third series for a comedy series to get criticism for getting a bit repetitive. This isn't the case for me with Little Britain. Yes, this series features the same characters with those same catchphrases but it is still just as humourous and enjoyable as our favourite characters enter new scenarios.

br /For me this series has actually strengthened because looking back to the first series there are plenty of examples of characters which didn't quite work and you find yourself skipping through to the better sketches. By this series, Matt and David clearly know what we find funny and the episodes become much stronger as a whole. The new characters Desiree, Mrs Emery and Ting Tong work well alongside the popular Vicky Pollard, Lou and Andy, Dafydd, Marjorie and Emily Howard.
br /
br /As for the DVD, the extras are very good. The deleted scenes are most surprising because on past sets they have been mostly abandoned concepts and characters. This time in addition to these there are half a dozen Lou and Andy sketches you haven't seen before in addition to more Dafydd, Carol, Emily Howard and the old lady who likes frogs.

br /The Southbank Show Special is also included which is very informative about Matt and David's life and how Little Britain goes from script to screen. 'Highlights from Little Britain Night' is also a nice extra if you like watching the creators talk about the show. Especially good if you missed this event when BBC3 screened it at the beginning of the year. More interviews with the 'Richard and Judy Interview' and David on 'Top Gear'. You also get a Little Britain Live trailer which is coming to DVD in November.

br /I still think this show has life left in it yet. If you liked the first two series' you need to get this one!
It just keeps getting better and better - Well done Matt and David! October 14, 2006 Darrell Perry 8 out of 20 found this review helpful
It seems to be the fashionable thing now to critisise Little Britain and say "Its not as good as the first and second series". Well I disagree. For me the third series is the best. I love all the new characters. My friend and I were in fits of laughter like never before. These guys are the best double act since Laurel and Hardy and they are here to stay. You cannot walk down the street without hearing one of their catchphrases. My own personal favourite catchphrase is Fat Fighters leader Marjorie Dawes - "Ooh its not easy, is it?"
