I think its unfair that people are commenting him so harshly. i thought on this dvd he was funny, charming and original. I hated him on 'big brothers big mouth' but ive grown to love him. i laughed so much when he was saying about riding past the window on the motorbike. i have friends that hated him but have fallen in love after showing them this dvd. hes obvious very intelligent and well read, and this seeps through in his witty humour. id also recommend his book. buy this... buy it now!

Russell Brand is officially on his way to being a comedic legend. I'm sure many people would disagree with that statement, and if that person is you, watch this DVD, listen to his radio shows and watch any one of his TV shows. If by then you still disagree, well then I suppose there is no winning you over.

br / The material on this DVD is absolutely hilarious. Russell is definitely a talented guy and I love him. I think the statement - 'You either love him or hate him' rings very true. I've heard such over-whelming praise of his quirky ways and on the other hand, I've heard the most appalling criticism of every last word he says.

br / I think a lot of the dislike for Mr Brand has emulated from the unnecessary over-exposure and tabloid coverage that he's received. Who gives a shoe at what Russell does in his private life? Not me. It's completely irrelevant in my eyes.

br / I can't show you how funny his stand-up is, but I just really encourage you to give it a go. Even if you think you hate the man, rent it out. If you still hate him, so be it but at least you'll feel comfort in the knowledge that you've judged the legend on his work and not tabloid talk!

I brought this dvd out of love for big brothers big mouth,i didnt know much about russell before this ,but being a fan of standup dvd's i'd have to say this rates as good as any i've watched of late. His unique dress sense and mental sense of humour will leave you in stitches .the special features on this dvd are also great including showing his work as an mtv presenter .buy it !!have a laugh !!

the dvd is from the shepherd's bush empire gig on Nov 9th 2006. The show was brilliant, will be buying this as soon as it comes out.

The comedian of our generation, live, and funny beyond belief. If your easily offended still watch this, topics from insulting Bob Geldof, Bono (well deserved), The Daily Star and hes holiday experiences add up to shear comic genious. Enjoy it while his with us, hes the best we as a country have got, it raises a question though, who is Russell Brand off Stage??? Buy this now, if only so he can have the cash to fund his life so we can have more of this
