Customer Reviews: A real mixed bag March 2, 2008 Jules 77 (England) 29 out of 30 found this review helpful In my opinion there are some good movies here - Porridge / Rising Damp / Likely Lads / On The Buses - but also some very bad, i.e. Are You Being Served and Love Thy Neighbour. br / br /Optimum seem to still have some problems with their encoding / authoring process as some films have poor contrast and washed out images when previous releases from the same master do not. This was also seen on their Hammer collection. Some movies are from a proper new master whereas others i.e. Bless This House / On The Buses, appear to be from old video transfers from the 70s. br / br /That said, if you can get this set for a good price and don't already own many of the movies included, go for it.
